SOU Campus Public Safety has requested that CERT reprise its operation of a light respite center at the SOU stadium during commencement. This is an opportunity for a couple of active CERT members to be there for our university students and families.
Respite center activity may be minimal, depending on the heat (expecting it to be a little warmer than usual this year) and events. We typically expect to hand out some water or band-aids on request, although additional help may be requested.
If you are comfortable interacting with the public (like the 4th of July booth, but much less traffic) and providing guidance with simple questions, you (CERT member) can help!
