Central Aid Agency

​We are a non-denominational uniformed service organization that operates on the basis of both faith and reason. We believe that by being a positive force for good in the world we can be a better representation of Jesus and spread the faith through actions rather than just through words, we affectionately call this “applied ministry”.

The Central Aid Agency Christian Service Army (Central Aid Agency, or C.A.A. for short) is a Christ-centered 501 (c)(3) religious nonprofit and non-governmental service organization (NGO) with five main areas of focus:

• Emergency Management, Response, and Emergency Services
  
• Public / Private Safety, Security, and Support Services
  
• Humanitarianism, Stewardship, and Community Service
  
• Science, Education, and Medical Services
  
• Ministry, Faith Services, and Outreach

Our organization is the official ministry and religious military order of service for Non-Denominational Christian Intellectualism and as such uses a military style structure and terminology that we’ve tailored to our needs and mission. We utilize a rank system for our personnel, and we wear uniforms that protect and identify us. The types of uniforms we wear depend on what we’re doing. Our organization is made up of designated commands, branches, programs, and units that each focus on specific aspects of our overall mission. Because faith, reason, and truth are so important to us, Non-Denominational Christian Intellectualism is also our core belief structure.

The Central Aid Agency first became a registered non-profit organization in January of 2010, but had begun conducting regular operations almost a year prior beginning in late Spring of 2009, and had been officially founded on December 1st, 2008. The concept that later became the Central Aid Agency had been around for many years prior to it becoming an official non-profit organization, and was inspired in part by great service organizations like the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Salvation Army, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Red Cross.

The Primary Operating Philosophy of the Central Aid Agency is to be a well-trained deployable resource for governmental and nongovernmental organizations alike, able to respond, assist, and support; especially when additional capacity is needed. Provide capability in difficult or hard to reach areas. Fill needs that may otherwise be left unmet. And contribute to, rather than supplant, existing resources and capabilities.

  We are committed to helping everyone equitably. We make no discrimination as to who we serve based on nationality, race, gender, identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, class, political perspective, or otherwise. However we do not encourage or facilitate immoral behavior; rather, we encourage and facilitate people. We also recognize that the issue of sin is primarily a personal one, between each person and God directly.

  In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Central Aid Agency has made a commitment not to take sides in hostilities, endorse a political viewpoint or opinion, or engage in product endorsements or political activities; unless directly related or adjacent to our mission. When neutrality cannot be maintained, we strive as much as possible for a moderate fact-based perspective that is strongly rooted in truth.
  
  
• Independence
  The Central Aid Agency is an independent organization and we encourage independent and critical thinking among our personnel and leadership. Though we value partnerships, and we recognize and respect the rule of law within the countries that we operate, we maintain autonomy and independence so that we are able at all times to act in accordance with C.A.A. principles and the Will of God.
  
  
• Service
  The core of the Central Aid Agency is our commitment to serve God and serve others. To accomplish this goal with the most effectiveness we are not motivated by thought of reward, but rather our duty to serve others in furtherance of the common good.
  
  
• Faith
  The Central Aid Agency is an organization of faith, which we define as a relationship with God through Jesus. We believe that the best way to share our faith is to demonstrate it through action, service, compassion, kindness, and by building relationships with others; it should not be forced or coerced. Because of this we generally do not proselytize, but will gladly share our faith with anyone that asks.

  The Central Aid Agency strives to not only be a participant in the fields we serve in, but a leader as well. By working together with other groups through partnership, cooperation, and collaboration we seek to help advance worthy causes for the betterment of all.

  The Central Aid Agency strives for excellence in everything we do and we put a high value on quality and effective service. We are constantly seeking ways to innovate and improve our level of service and capability. By that same token, maintaining high standards of conduct, integrity, and training is central to our mission.
